The Lamb (at No. 6 Bridge Street) is a 152 year old, charismatic pub situated in the centre of Newport, just a minute’s walk from the train station. We open midday, Monday – Saturday until late. Whatever the time of day, you’ll always find the atmosphere relaxed, the service excellent, a great selection of drinks and good proper food to tempt your appetite.

With a bar full of ‘tried and tasted’ drinks, we’ve always got two guest cask ales for you to try amongst our regular attendees from our local friends at Baa Best. We’ve a vast selection of lagers and cider too and of course all the quality spirits you’d expect to find in a great pub.

At The Lamb pub, we like to make sure the spirit goes beyond the vodka bottles. We have live music playing most Thursdays to make sure the weekend kicks off to a good start and we always play the big games on our big screens for you and your friends to enjoy a pint over.
